I'm Elliot Marsh. I've spent most of my working life as a network engineer — first in a hosting company's NOC, later in the ops team of a mid-size SaaS — and these notes are the residue of that work: things that bit me once and deserve a written reminder.
The site runs on a single small server with one static build step (none, in fact). No analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels. If the page you wanted is gone, it was probably rewritten rather than deleted.
I write infrequently and edit heavily. A note that appears here has usually survived two rewrites and one angry comment from a colleague who knows better.
Rule of thumb: if an architecture diagram needs more than five boxes, you're describing two systems.
